Saudi Arabia issues visa for head of Iran interests section

TEHRAN – An informed source announced on Sunday that Saudi Arabia has agreed to grant visa to head of the interests section of Iran at the Saudi kingdom

Mohammad Alibak, who serves as the supervisor of the Oman and Yemen office at the Iranian Foreign Ministry, has been appointed as head of the interest section in Jeddah, IRNA reported.

Earlier, Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi had announced that the Islamic Republic’s plan for the interests section is well underway. He also voiced Iran’s readiness to hold negotiations with Saudi Arabia to heal the rift.
